The Broccoli Healer Smoothie Recipe, I put together to boost the immune system, broccoli protect against heart disease and fights off cancer, But, I put broccoli in this recipe because it boosts the immune system. The cauliflower boosts the immune system as well, it also inhibit tumor growth. I like to add the 2 tablespoons ground flax-seed for improving kidney function. Flax-seed also can help reduce the risk of heart disease and prevent cancer.
serves 2 full glasses
1 cup broccoli
1 cup cauliflower
2 tablespoons ground flax-seed
2 1/2 cup of water or for flavor pomegranate juice.
1 cup ice ( Optional )
Cut up your broccoli and cauliflower before putting it in your blender, put your 2 1/2 cups of water or for sweet flavor pomegranate juice in your blander, add in the broccoli and cauliflower and your 2 tablespoons ground flax-seed, then blend in till smooth, 1 cup ice ( Optional ) if you want it slushy.
